Inductive Components

AEM was the first US Corporation to start mass production of ferrite chip beads, power beads, and ferrite/ceramic inductors in its San Diego facility in 1996. Today, AEM's inductive components are used globally for EMI signal filtering in high-tech industries.

Inductive Components Selection Guide
MLC Selection Guide - Chart
Ferrite Chip Beads (MCB) - AEM’s surface mount ferrite chip beads provides a complete set of ferrite and electrode materials with a wide range of electrical properties. They are widely used in noise suppression in computers and peripherals, telecommunications and datacommunications.
Ferrite Chip Bead Arrays  (MBA) – The Multilayer Ferrite Chip Bead Array retains all the features of Multilayer Ferrite Chip Beads. In addition, it provides multiple circuits in a single package, which reduce the required land space on PCB and reduce the cost for assembly.
Ferrite Power Beads (MCP) - Monolithic structure for closed magnetic path and high reliability with superior termination bonding strength. Short-form Datasheet - Comparison of Reliability Test Download Datasheet
Ferrite Inductors (MCI) - The MCI series multilayer ferrite chip inductors features monolithic structure for closed magnetic path eliminating crosstalk and provides high reliability in wide temperature and humidity range. Download Datasheet
Ceramic Inductors (MHI) - High quality ceramic material and unique manufacturing processes provide high Q at high frequency and high self-resonant frequency. Download Datasheet
Land Pattern and Soldering Temperature - Recommended PC Board land patterns and temperature profiles for soldering. Download Datasheet
Packaging and Storage - AEM's multilayer components are provided on tape-and-reel for use in pick-and-place machines or in bulk for special applications. Download Datasheet
Reliability Tests - Comparison of reliability tests. Download Datasheet
